Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Publications Author with strong expertise in S1000D authoring. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating, reviewing, and delivering high-quality technical manuals in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Author, review, and proofread technical manuals as per project requirements.

- Apply S1000D standards and ensure compliance with BREX rules.

- Work with DMRL and manage content through CSDB tools.

- Create, update, and maintain IPD (Illustrated Parts Data).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Utilize XML authoring tools (e.g., Arbortext, FrameMaker, SDL) for content development.

- Apply XPath/XSLT basics for customization and data management.

Required Skills & Experience

- Solid knowledge of S1000D authoring and publishing process.

- Proficiency in XML-based authoring tools.

- Understanding of BREX rules and compliance checks.

- Experience with DMRL and CSDB tools.

- Exposure to IPD creation and management.

- Familiarity with XPath/XSLT concepts.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
