Job Summery

To lead and strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949, drive continuous improvement, and implement Industry 4.0–based quality and process enhancements across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities: QMS & IATF Leadership

· Lead implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of IATF 16949 QMS.

· Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements (CSR).

· Drive process audits, system audits, and product audits.

· Handle external audits (IATF, ISO, customer audits) and ensure zero major NCs.

· Review and strengthen APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC systems.

· Monitor and improve CAPA effectiveness and risk management.

System & Process Improvement

· Identify gaps in existing QMS and implement robust, standardized processes.

· Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Lean, Six Sigma).

· Improve process capability, defect reduction, and customer satisfaction.

· Strengthen supplier quality systems and development programs.

Industry 4.0 & Digital Transformation

· Explore and implement Industry 4.0 concepts in Quality & Manufacturing:

o Digital QMS

o Real-time process monitoring

o Automated SPC and data analytics

o Paperless documentation and dashboards

· Integrate ERP / MES / QMS software for data-driven decision-making.

· Promote use of data analytics for quality performance improvement.





Cross-Functional Leadership

· Work closely with Production, Engineering, NPD, Maintenance, IT, and SCM.

· Drive quality culture and accountability across all levels.

· Train teams on IATF requirements, core tools, and Industry 4.0 practices.

· Represent quality in management reviews and customer meetings.

Education Qualification:

· BE / BTech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

· Quality certifications preferred (IATF Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, CQE)

Experience:

· 8–15 years’ experience in QMS / Quality Management

· Minimum 5 years in IATF 16949 leadership role

· Proven experience in QMS improvement & system maturity

· Hands-on exposure to Industry 4.0 initiatives in manufacturing

Skills & Competencies:

· Robust command of IATF 16949 & Core Tools

· Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes

· Knowledge of Industry 4.0, digital quality systems, MES, data analytics

· Excellent audit handling & customer interface skills

· Change management and process improvement mindset

· Leadership, mentoring, and strategic thinking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
