Position: Accountant
Location: Shivaji Nagar, Pune

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Qualification: B. Com / MBA (Finance), M. Com. CA Intermendiate

- Robust knowledge of Accounting Principles
- GST Compliance & Return Filing
- Tally ERP
- MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas)
- Bank Reconciliation
- Financial Statement Preparation
- Bookkeeping
- Journal Entries
- Month-end & Year-end Closing

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records.
- Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

GST Compliance

- Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B).
- Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation.
- Handle GST registration, amendments, and cancellations.
- Prepare GST refund workings.
- Respond to GST notices and assist during GST assessments and audits.
- Guide internal teams on GST compliance and Input Tax Credit (ITC).

Financial Reporting

- Assist in preparation of financial statements.




- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare reconciliation statements and MIS reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple entities.

Banking & Reconciliation

- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and vendor/customer balances.
- Verify payment entries and receipts.

Audit & Compliance

- Assist internal and statutory auditors.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Maintain records required for audits and inspections.

E-Invoicing & E-Way Bill

- Generate and manage E-Invoices.
- Prepare and monitor E-Way Bills.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GST provisions.

Coordination

- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, and government departments whenever required.
- Resolve accounting and taxation queries.
