Job Title: Kitchen Maintenance Assistant (Electrical)

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of kitchen equipment, including boilers, sukhadis (steam cooking vessels), and other electrical and mechanical equipment. The candidate should have basic electrical knowledge and be capable of ensuring the smooth operation of all kitchen machinery while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of kitchen boilers, sukhadis, and other kitchen equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults in kitchen machinery.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure boilers and steam-based equipment are functioning efficiently and safely.
- Monitor electrical panels, wiring, switches, and control systems related to kitchen equipment.
- Replace faulty electrical components such as switches, relays, contactors, motors, and heating elements.
- Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and equipment servicing when required.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.




- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to avoid disruption of kitchen operations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new kitchen equipment.

Required Qualifications:

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, motors, boilers, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in kitchen equipment maintenance, hotel, hospital, hostel, or industrial kitchen maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and preventive maintenance.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
