Role:

- Clutch and clutch release system design, development and evaluate for automobiles

Responsibilities:
Designing & development of automotive transmission clutch and release system Vehicle layout of clutch, clutch cables & pipes, and other clutch release system components (both manual and hydraulic) Clutch part level evaluation Vehicle level clutch performance and NVH tuning Analysis of market problem/ failure related to clutch & clutch release system including detrimental effects on vehicle performance. 5

Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional:
Proficient in CAD and Drafting - preferably Uni-graphics Proficient in designer CAE Knowledge of Project management system / Engg. BOM system Knowledge of Clutch & Release system specification design based on vehicle requirements Knowledge of clutch NVH filtration & interpretation of NVH data Knowledge of clutch parameters affecting vehicle level performance Working knowledge of other damping solutions like Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF), Hybrid dampers.



Working knowledge of Wet clutches for Hybrid applications Thorough understanding of DFMEA/Root cause analysis and other designing/analysis tools.
