The Placement Officer is responsible for coordinating student placements, building solid relationships with industry partners, and ensuring maximum placement opportunities for students. The role involves employer outreach, student grooming, placement tracking, and career guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry partners for student placements.
- Identify job opportunities and arrange campus interviews, job fairs, and recruitment drives.
- Coordinate with academic and training teams to understand student skill sets and readiness.
- Guide students on career planning, job roles, resume preparation, and interview skills.
- Organize placement training sessions such as mock interviews, aptitude tests, and soft-skills workshops.
- Maintain student placement records, employer databases, and placement reports.
- Follow up with employers and students to track placement outcomes.
- Ensure placement targets are met as per management guidelines.
- Handle employer feedback and student performance reviews.
- Support internship opportunities where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with placement policies and documentation requirements.
