Job Summary

We are looking for a sincere, organized, and responsible Store In-Charge / Store Executive to manage our store operations efficiently. The person will be responsible for receiving materials, maintaining stock records, issuing materials to production, and ensuring the store is clean, safe, and well-organized.

Key Responsibilities Material Receiving

- Receive raw materials, consumables, tools, and other items from suppliers.
- Check the quantity and condition of received materials against the purchase order and delivery challan.
- Inform the Purchase or Quality department if any material is damaged or incorrect.

Material Storage

- Store materials in their designated locations.
- Arrange items neatly for easy identification and retrieval.

Material Issue

- Issue materials to production only against an approved Material Requisition Slip (MRS).
- Maintain accurate records of all materials issued.

Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate stock records in registers.
- Update inward and outward entries daily.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Purchase department before items run out.
- Participate in monthly and yearly stock verification.

Documentation

- Maintain records such as:
- Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
- Material Issue Slips
- Stock Register
- Delivery Challans
- Inventory Reports
- Ensure all documents are filed properly and are easy to retrieve.

Store Maintenance

- Keep the store clean, organized, and safe.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored.
- Follow company safety rules and maintain good housekeeping.

Coordination

- Work closely with the Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments.




- Support smooth material flow to avoid production delays.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of inventory and store management.
- Ability to maintain records accurately.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, and Word).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Honest, responsible, and organized.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under deadlines.

Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Additional certification in Stores or Inventory Management is an added advantage.

Experience

- Store Executive: 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Store In-Charge: 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering stores.
- Experience in Stainless Steel, Fabrication, Engineering, or Heavy Machinery industries is preferred.

Preferred Knowledge

- Stainless Steel raw materials (Sheets, Plates, Pipes, Tubes, Angles, Channels, Flats, etc.)
- Fasteners and fittings
- Welding consumables
- Hardware and tools
- Industrial safety practices
- Stock audits, and inventory control

Performance Expectations

The Store In-Charge / Store Executive is expected to:

- Maintain accurate inventory with minimal stock differences.
- Ensure timely issue of materials to production.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and safe.
- Maintain proper documentation at all times.
- Support uninterrupted production by ensuring material availability.
