Position - Manager - Sales & Business Development (West India) - Desalination

Formulate and implement a business growth strategy in line with the organization’s overall objectives for the short term (1 Year), medium term (2-4 years), and long term (>5 years). Identifying potential leads and prospects and converting them into viable business opportunities across diverse customer segments in West India
- Discover expansion possibilities by collaborating closely with the Desalination team, conducting market research, engaging with customers, and forming strategic partnerships.
- Lead B2B sales of Desalination solutions in West India.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to adjust business development and sales strategies accordingly.
- Develop compelling business proposals for customers to facilitate their purchase decisions of the product.
- Create innovative business models for operations and sales strategies customized for each potential use case segment.
- Lead technical and commercial analysis of market needs and opportunities.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal teams to enhance business performance.
Work Experience
- Essential: MBA from a reputed Institute
- Desirable: B.E. / B.Tech Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
- 5-8 years of experience and track record in business development, preferably in water treatment, desalination, or a related industrial sector.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and market analysis skills.
- Good understanding of desalination technologies, sustainability considerations, and customer requirements for water systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
- Solid in written and spoken English
- Excellent presentation skills and good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to join at short notice.
