The Deputy Manager - Accounts Receivable will play a crucial role in our Finance department. This position involves managing a team, performing month-end closing activities, analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with internal and external audits. The successful candidate will have the chance to drive process improvements and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
- - Support month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable, including revenue-related reconciliations and journal entries.
- - Prepare and analyze month-on-month (MoM) variances in AR balances and assist in identifying key drivers.
- - Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on overdue receivables to ensure timely collections.
- - Prepare monthly AR schedules, customer reconciliations, and bank reconciliations, and assist in resolving open reconciling items.
- - Assist in maintaining compliance with Internal Financial Controls (IFCs)
and provide support during internal and statutory audits.
- - Ensure accurate accounting and timely recording of customer receipts, credit notes, and adjustments.
- - Identify opportunities for process improvements and support automation and standardization initiatives within the AR function.
- - Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for AR processes as required.
- - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer billing and payment-related queries.
- - Possess a basic understanding of direct and indirect taxation applicable to Accounts Receivable transactions.
Skills Required:
- - CA-Mandatory with 4-6 years of experience in managing end-to-end Accounting plus exposure of dealing with Global stakeholders.
