Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner, consistent with the Couples Resorts brand. This role requires solid product knowledge, efficiency, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and safety. This position reports to the Bar Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with resort recipes and presentation standards
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests
- Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktail menus, wine lists, and beverage promotions
- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, equipment, and storage spaces
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and requisitions
- Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate effectively with bar, restaurant,



and service teams
- Uphold Couples Resorts grooming, conduct, and service standards at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a bartender, preferably in a hotel or resort environment
- Certification in bartending or mixology is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of international cocktails, wines, and spirits
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
