Polymer Engineer Scientist – Tile Fixing & Adhesive Formulation

Job Summary

CS Bond Solutions is looking for an innovative and research-driven Polymer Engineer Scientist to develop and improve advanced formulations used for tile fixing, tile repair, waterproofing, crack filling, and construction adhesive solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in polymer chemistry, material science, and formulation development, with the ability to create durable, high-strength, and cost-effective products for ceramic, vitrified, marble, and stone tile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize polymer-based formulations for tile adhesives, grouts, sealants, and repair products
- Research new raw materials and chemical combinations to improve bonding strength, flexibility, durability, and water resistance
- Conduct laboratory testing, product evaluation, and performance analysis
- Identify formulation issues and recommend product improvements
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for formulation scaling and manufacturing support
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Prepare formulation records, technical reports, and testing documentation
- Collaborate with suppliers for raw material selection and evaluation




- Support R&D; and innovation initiatives for construction chemical products

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymer Engineering / Material Science / Chemical Engineering / Chemistry
- 2–8 years of experience in polymers, construction chemicals, or material science
- Strong knowledge of tile adhesive formulations, polymer chemistry, and resin systems
- Understanding of waterproofing compounds, fillers, additives, and cementitious products
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and material analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills

- Experience in tile adhesive or construction chemical manufacturing industry
- Exposure to R&D; and product development
- Knowledge of ASTM / ISO testing standards
- Innovation-focused mindset with attention to detail
