Position: Deputy Manager Civil Procurement

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager Civil Procurement to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities related to civil engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of civil construction materials, equipment, and services, along with excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies for various civil projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Lead the entire procurement cycle from vendor identification, pre-qualification, tendering, bid analysis, and contract finalization for civil works, materials, and services.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and maintain an updated vendor database specific to civil engineering requirements.
- Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers and contractors to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality or project schedules.




- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and resolve any issues or disputes related to civil procurement.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, and legal departments to understand project specifications and ensure procurement activities support overall project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Oversee contract administration, including tracking deliverables, managing change orders, and ensuring timely payments.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and cost fluctuations.
