Implement the merchandising strategy for Diamond Jewelry in alignment with the overall
merchandising and business strategy to achieve growth and profitability of the business/
- Provide inputs on creation of the NPI (New product introduction) calendar.
- Ensure the timely launch of current and improved products in line with the latest trends and
customer preferences.
- Vendor identification and shortlisting the products for product meets.
- Screen designs and evaluate products from vendors.
- Classify and tag new Diamond products into the appropriate design family and hierarchy.
- Develop the planogram and oversee the creation of assortment mix for the Diamond category.
- Monitor inventory and inventory holding in stores for Diamond category to maintain inventory levels .
- Identify dead stock to be returned to vendors in order to minimize MGD losses.
