Summary
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires coordinating with various stakeholders to align migration strategies with business goals, while leveraging both private and public cloud technologies to support innovative and efficient business outcomes. The role demands continuous monitoring and adjustment to optimize the migration process and maintain system integrity throughout the transition.
Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and execution of migration plans to ensure seamless cloud adoption.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to enhance overall performance.
- Monitor migration progress and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruption.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in TIBCO Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Compute Services.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and migration methodologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance cloud solutions.
- Experience in managing application and data migration projects.
- Familiarity with private and public cloud environments and their integration.
