Job Summary

We are looking for a Public Relations Officer (PRO) to support the organisation in building robust public visibility, institutional recognition, and professional communication.

The role involves identifying awards and recognition opportunities, coordinating applications, managing institutional communication, and supporting the organisation’s public image and reputation-building efforts.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify relevant NGO awards, fellowships, and recognition opportunities
- Prepare and submit applications, nominations, and required documentation within deadlines
- Coordinate with government departments, state authorities,



and international bodies for recognition opportunities
- Draft and manage official communication, organisational profiles, and supporting documents
- Maintain proper records and ensure timely follow-up on all submissions and opportunities
- Support the organisation in public relations, institutional communication, and reputation-building

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Social Work, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in public relations, communications, NGO coordination, institutional relations, documentation, or similar roles
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in award applications, institutional communication, or NGO/public sector liaison will be preferred
