Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience to drive requirement engineering for a complex, multi-layered enterprise software project. You will play a key role to bridge the gap between clients, technical architects, and developers. The ideal candidate excels at dissecting complex systems, tracing data across various technical layers, and translating high-level business logic into precise technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Requirement Engineering: Lead requirement gathering sessions for multi-layered, integrated software architectures.
- Deep-Dive Specifications: Translate complex business rules into detailed functional requirements, system-to-system mapping documents, APIs workflow diagrams, and data flow charts.
- Cross-Layer Collaboration: Act as the central node between business sponsors, UI/UX designers, backend/frontend engineering teams, and QA to ensure exact implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage confidently with client product owners and C-level stakeholders to manage scope, define MVPs, and align expectations.
- Traceability & Risk:



Establish strict requirement traceability matrices across complex sprint cycles; identify system dependencies and technical risks early.
- Agile Delivery: Facilitate sprint grooming, user story mapping, and technical breakdown sessions using Jira and Confluence.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in custom software development or enterprise web applications.
- System Complexity: Proven experience working on applications with complex architectures (handling data flows between front-end interfaces, middleware/APIs, and back-end databases).
- Documentation Mastery: High proficiency in writing granular user stories, acceptance criteria (BDD/Gherkin format is a plus), BRDs, and process maps.
- Tools: Expert usage of Jira, Confluence, and visual mapping tools like Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, crisp communication, and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively with both technical leads and business executives.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kaudiar, Kerala
