Job Description: Planning Engineer with Steel Fabrication Industry
Location : Raipur

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our team in the steel fabrication industry. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of steel fabrication projects. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient project management and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.

Resource Allocation: Coordinate with project stakeholders to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal project execution.

Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules using appropriate tools and methodologies. Identify critical paths, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks.

Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Collaborate with the estimating team to develop accurate cost estimates. Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget constraints.

Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions or delays.

Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with internal departments, such as production, procurement, and engineering, to ensure seamless project coordination and timely completion.

Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications throughout the fabrication process. Conduct inspections and implement quality control measures.

Documentation and Reporting:



Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and change orders. Generate progress reports and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.

Health and Safety: Promote and enforce a culture of safety and compliance with health regulations within the fabrication facility. Identify and address any safety concerns or hazards.

Continuous Improvement: Analyze project performance and identify areas for process improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Implement strategies to enhance overall project management processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the steel fabrication industry.
- Must have experience in Raw Material planning and Nesting and cutting
- Familiar with Fastcam or Omniwin Software
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the steel fabrication industry.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
