- Processing daily cash, card, and digital payments, and issuing receipts, refunds, or change according to company policy .
- Maintaining accurate financial records, petty cash logs, and reconciling accounts at the end of the day .
- Performing basic accounting tasks such as ledger entries, bank reconciliation, and preparing documents for audits .
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments to vendors while preparing invoices for customers .
- Participating in budgeting activities and providing financial insights to support decision-making
- Issuing receipts and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Balancing cash drawers and petty cash, ensuring sufficient funds for business operations.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance,



or a related field is typically required for accountant-cashier roles.
- Skills: Solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in maintaining financial records, preparing statements, conducting reconciliations, basic communication skills, and familiarity with accounting software like Tally or computerized accounting systems
