Job Description – Sales Engineer

Position: Sales Engineer Location: Bhopal DSO / Indore

Department: Sales & Marketing

Industry: Manufacturing – Cutting Tools

Experience 2–6 years of relevant sales experience.

Candidates must have experience in the Cutting Tool industry (HSS, Solid Carbide, Indexable Tools, Tooling Solutions, etc.).

Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Job Responsibilities

-Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and current customers in the assigned territory. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

-Conduct customer visits to identify new business opportunities.

-Promote and sell cutting tools and machining solutions. Perform product trials and demonstrate technical solutions to customers.

-Coordinate with distributors and dealers to increase market penetration.

-Generate enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up for order conversion.

-Monitor competitors' activities and provide market intelligence.

-Prepare Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and submit them to the Branch Manager.

-Ensure timely order booking and coordination with internal teams for order execution.



Provide technical support and application guidance to customers.

-Experience in manufacturing companies dealing with cutting tools is mandatory.

-Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Self-motivated with a strong customer-focused approach.
