Position: Assistant Designer

Experience: 1–2 years

Qualification: Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Industrial Design, or related field

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Designer to support the design and development

of innovative eyewear products. The role involves creating detailed design drawings,

coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth transition from design to

production.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 2D/3D CAD models and create technical, part, and manufacturing drawings.

- Apply GD&T; standards to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.

- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for drawing updates, approvals, and

release.

- Assist in design reviews, prototyping, and feasibility studies.





- Maintain accurate design data and documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo/SolidWorks.

- Basic knowledge of GD&T; and manufacturing processes.

- Valuable communication and collaboration skills.

- Detail-oriented, with a creative and technical mindset.

Preferred Attributes

- Experience in eyewear, consumer products, or precision plastic/metal components.

- Understanding of processes like CNC machining/Programming/ Injection moulding,

metal forming, and surface finishing.
