Job Title: Vision System Engineer – Packaging Automation
Location: Mumbai (Travel across India & occasional overseas travel)

Job Summary

Looking for a Vision System Engineer with experience in industrial automation and machine vision to handle vision-based inspection projects from requirement gathering to commissioning and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer inspection requirements and define inspection logic.
- Select and configure vision cameras, lenses, and lighting.
- Develop machine vision applications for presence/absence, orientation, dimension checks, OCR/OCV, barcode/label validation, and defect detection.
- Integrate vision systems with PLCs and HMIs.
- Handle installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, customer training, and technical support.




- Prepare project documentation and maintain standard vision programs.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in machine vision and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with Cognex, Keyence, Omron, Basler, or similar vision systems.
- Positive knowledge of PLC/HMI integration, image processing, camera setup, lighting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in packaging, pharma, FMCG, or industrial automation is preferred.
