Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Structural Engineering / Civil Engineering
Experience: 5–8 Years

Job Summary

The Structural Designer is responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings, 3D models, fabrication drawings, and design coordination for steel structures, PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings), industrial buildings, and other construction projects. The role involves working closely with structural engineers, project teams, and clients to ensure accurate and effective design execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed structural drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings.
- Develop and modify 2D and 3D structural models using design software.
- Review structural design calculations and ensure drawings comply with project requirements.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, consultants, and project teams for design development.
- Prepare connection details, shop drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and company design procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and resolve technical drawing-related issues.
- Support project execution teams with technical clarifications and drawing revisions.
- Optimize structural layouts to improve constructability and material efficiency.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation as per project requirements.




- Assist in quantity estimation and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with fabrication and site teams to address design-related queries.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of structural steel and PEB structures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, STAAD Pro, and other structural design software.
- Understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, AISC, MBMA, and relevant design standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects is preferred.

Preferred Experience

- 5–8 years of experience in structural design and detailing.
- Experience in steel structures, PEB buildings, warehouses, factories, and industrial projects.
- Exposure to fabrication and erection processes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet project deadlines.

- Accuracy and quality of drawings.
- Timely completion of design deliverables.
- Reduction in drawing revisions and errors.
- Effective coordination with engineering and project teams.
- Compliance with project specifications and design standards.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
