The purpose of the job is to lead the maintenance, recent-installation activities in the factory while controlling overall maintenance costs and improving efficiencies due to effective maintenance
Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Duties and Responsibilities - 1. Day to day monitoring of Machines and utilities and maintaining the working condition of all the machines with respect to Safety, Quality and Delivery. 2. Efficiently Lead the Engineering Team, annual maintenance budget plan, and annual maintenance plan to achieve our objective of zero breakdowns to achieve highest reliability of plant. 3. Responsible for analysing breakdowns to find out Root cause and take corrective and preventive action to reduce MTTR (Mean time to repair )and to increase MTBF (Mean time between failures) 4.
Authorized for quality check of all machine spares to ensure the standard. 5. Responsible for all ERP (SAP) related work. 6. To carry out Predictive and Preventive Maintenance of machines in order to minimize the breakdown percentage and maintenance cost of machines. 7. Active member of Fire Fighting Team and responsible for rescue operation. 8. Adept (expert) in procurement processes/purchase of spares related to machines. 9. Process improvement/development in respective area and providing kaizen if required. 10. Diagnose fault and overcome it in view to stop repeating of fault. 11. Inventory management. 12. Maintaining and controlling of maintenance cost. 13. Responsible for all internal and external audits related to Engineering department such as 5-S, ISO-9000, ISO-14000, OHSAS, Safety, asset verification, stock verification.
