Student Counsellor – Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Education, or related field
- Master’s degree in Psychology / Counselling / Clinical or Child Psychology (preferred)
- Diploma or certification in School Counselling / Child Guidance / Career Counselling (added advantage)
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in student counselling, school counselling, or academic advising (preferred)
- Robust understanding of student psychology, career guidance, and behavioural issues
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students, parents, and teachers collaboratively
- Knowledge of career pathways, entrance exams, and academic planning
- (Optional)



Certification or training aligned with CBSE / school counselling guidelines

Optional (if you want to make it stronger / premium role)

- RCI-approved qualification or relevant counselling license (preferred but not always mandatory)
- Experience handling mental health concerns, stress management, or learning difficulties
- Workshop facilitation / group counselling experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
