Job Title: Medical Transcriptionist Location: Mohali (On-site) / Remote (if applicable) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to accurately transcribe audio recordings from healthcare providers into written medical documents. The ideal candidate should have excellent English typing skills, strong knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Key Responsibilities - Transcribe medical dictations, reports, and physician notes accurately. - Edit and proofread transcribed documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting. - Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant. - Interpret medical terminology, abbreviations, and clinical language correctly. - Meet daily productivity and quality targets. - Coordinate with healthcare providers when clarification is required.



Requirements - Minimum 1 year of experience in medical transcription (Freshers with excellent skills may also apply). - Excellent English listening, typing, and grammar skills. - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology. - Proficiency in MS Word and transcription software. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications - Certification in Medical Transcription is a plus. - Experience with US healthcare documentation is preferred. - Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is an advantage.
