Housekeeping Manager – School Campus

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping operations across our school campus. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation throughout the campus while managing a large team of housekeeping staff.

The ideal candidate will possess solid leadership skills, experience in institutional or large-campus housekeeping, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, parents, and visitors.

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager will oversee all housekeeping activities across the school campus, ensuring that classrooms, laboratories, offices, restrooms, libraries, auditoriums, sports facilities, dining areas, and common spaces are maintained to the highest standards. The role includes manpower planning, quality inspections, staff training, inventory management, and coordination with various school departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations across the entire campus.
- Plan and allocate housekeeping staff across classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices, libraries, auditoriums, sports facilities, cafeterias, playgrounds, and other common areas.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
- Prepare staff duty rosters, attendance records, shift schedules, and leave planning.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance and service quality.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning, sanitation, and waste management.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning equipment, chemicals,



and consumables in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain adequate inventory of housekeeping supplies and coordinate timely procurement.
- Coordinate with school management and department heads to address housekeeping requirements and special event preparations.
- Ensure campus readiness for school functions, examinations, parent meetings, cultural events, and other activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping reports and present operational updates to management.
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requirements and unforeseen operational issues.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in housekeeping management within schools, colleges, hospitals, hotels, corporate campuses, or other large institutions.
- Experience managing large housekeeping teams is essential.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
