POSITION OVERVIEW

The State Head will own the complete business performance, growth strategy, and leadership of Vastu Housing Finance's Delhi NCR State operations. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving disbursements, managing multi-zone teams, ensuring portfolio quality, and scaling Vastu's market presence across the Delhi NCR region , one of India's largest affordable housing markets.

This role requires strategic vision, execution excellence, and the ability to build and mentor high-performing teams across a geographically diverse region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic & P&L; Management





- Own and drive the state's disbursement targets, AUM growth, and overall P&L.;
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with national objectives.
- Create 3–5 year growth roadmaps identifying market expansion opportunities.
- Monitor and optimize ROI, cost-to-income ratio, and profitability.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

- Lead, mentor, and manage Zonal Heads, Regional Heads, and senior management.
- Build a high-performing leadership team with strong accountability.
- Conduct talent reviews, succession planning, and capability development.
- Drive talent retention and recruitment for senior positions.

Business Development & Market Expansion

- Execute targeted business development strategies for urban and semi-urban markets.
- Identify and penetrate new geographies and underserved customer segments.
- Build strategic relationships with DSA partners, developers, and connectors.
- Conduct periodic market mapping and competitive analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (continued)

Portfolio & Risk Management

- Ensure portfolio quality through proactive NPA monitoring and management.
- Implement and oversee credit risk controls and underwriting standards.




- Drive collections efficiency and recovery mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies.

Operations & Compliance

- Drive operational excellence and standardization across all zones and branches.
- Ensure 100% regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
- Oversee MIS reviews, branch performance analytics, and KPI tracking.
- Implement corrective action plans for underperforming zones.
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and HFC regulations.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Represent Vastu Housing Finance in local industry forums and government engagements.
- Liaise with Delhi NCR real estate associations and regulatory authorities.
- Build relationships with developers, housing societies, and community organizations.
- Participate in investor relations and corporate governance initiatives.

WHAT YOU BRING

Professional Experience

- 14–20 years in housing finance, NBFC, banking, or fintech sectors.
- Minimum 7–8 years in senior leadership roles (State Head, Circle Head, or equivalent).
- Proven track record in affordable housing, home loans, or LAP segments.
- Direct experience managing geographically dispersed teams across zones.
- Demonstrated experience scaling operations in competitive markets.

Market & Domain Expertise

- Deep understanding of Delhi NCR's real estate market and mortgage lending dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, credit policies, and regulatory framework.
- Familiarity with affordable housing schemes and government initiatives.
