Job Title: OPT Recruiter (1–3 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic OPT Recruiter with 1–3 years of experience in U.S. IT staffing to source, screen, and engage OPT, STEM OPT, and CPT candidates for technology opportunities across the United States.

The ideal candidate has experience recruiting international students and recent graduates, understands visa regulations, and is passionate about helping candidates begin their careers in the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities

Source and recruit OPT, STEM OPT, and CPT candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, university career portals, referrals, social media, and other sourcing channels.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified technology candidates.

Conduct initial screening to evaluate technical skills, communication, work authorization, and career goals.

Guide candidates through the recruitment process, including interview scheduling, marketing, onboarding, and placement activities.

Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide timely updates.

Collaborate with senior recruiters and account managers to match candidates with client requirements.

Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Follow up with candidates to ensure engagement throughout the hiring process.

Meet weekly and monthly sourcing, submission, and interview targets.

Stay informed about current technology trends and the U.S. IT job market.





Required Qualifications

1–3 years of experience as an OPT Recruiter or IT Recruiter in the U.S. staffing industry.

Experience recruiting OPT, STEM OPT, and CPT candidates.

Basic understanding of F-1, OPT, STEM OPT, and CPT work authorization.

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, or other recruiting platforms.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Comfortable working in a target-driven recruiting setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting for IT roles such as Business Analyst, QA, Java Developer, .NET Developer, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Full Stack Developer.

Familiarity with ATS platforms such as CEIPAL, Bullhorn, or JobDiva.

Experience with Boolean search and LinkedIn sourcing.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
