JOB PURPOSE

The Sourcing Specialist will participate in a wide variety of complex sourcing functions to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely service delivery to clients. The role requires strong sourcing expertise, supplier management capabilities, and the ability to manage specialized procurement requirements across global markets. Candidate should have exposure working on Sourcing /procurement of IT / Electrical/ Special Vehicle . Hands on experience on any of the sector will added advantage .

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Key Result Areas)

- Ability to understand and decode client requirements and provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, units of measure, and best sourcing solutions.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specialized procurement categories such as IT Procurement, Electronic Procurement, and Special Vehicles Procurement across global markets.
- Handle sourcing activities for large and complex projects while acting as the technical expert within the assigned category.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and conduct comparative analysis based on specifications, pricing, lead time, and product availability.
- Make sourcing decisions of moderate complexity with guidance from the Sourcing Lead/Manager.
- Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with suppliers and vendors globally.
- Build superior working relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Act as second-in-command to the Customer Service (CS) representative in charge.
- Support supervision and training of junior sourcing personnel and sourcing assistants.
- Work closely with the CS team to understand client requirements, sourcing trends, and market intelligence.
- Maintain strong knowledge of sourcing methods, price trends, product grades, and material quality standards available in the market.
- Continuously research and expand commodity and industry knowledge to introduce new suppliers and sourcing methods.




- Source products and suppliers globally for IT hardware, electronic components, industrial equipment, and specialized vehicles.
- Coordinate with logistics and freight teams to identify optimal delivery routes and achieve cost-effective freight solutions.
- Ensure at least three vendor quotations are obtained for all sourcing requests for effective price comparison.
- Support freight estimation and delivery planning in consultation with the freight commercial team.
- Coordinate proactively with freight personnel for new delivery locations to estimate shipping routes and costs.
- Ensure all quotations are completed within the ERP system within 48 hours unless otherwise specified by clients.
- Prioritize quote revalidation requests and complete them within 24 hours.
- Notify the CS team upon quote completion/revalidation and update the GPS tracking system accordingly.
- Submit daily sourcing activity reports to the Sourcing Lead/Manager.
- Update RFQ Process Tracking Sheets and GPS records on a daily basis.
- Ensure all quotations above USD 10,000 are reviewed by the Sourcing Lead/Manager.
- Support the Purchase department by re-sourcing products in case of supplier defaults or delivery failures.
- Provide regular supplier performance feedback to the Sourcing Lead/Manager.
- Maintain proper sourcing documentation, procurement records, and supplier communications.

- Commercially focused, result-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced workplace with tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide customer-centric sourcing solutions while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Self-driven, highly committed, and capable of independently managing sourcing responsibilities and priorities.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience in global procurement and sourcing operations.
- Strong exposure to ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Experience in handling RFQs, vendor negotiations, supplier development, and freight coordination.
- Good understanding of IT products, electronic components, industrial equipment, and specialized vehicle sourcing.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
