As a Team Lead – AI, we are looking for a strong Python engineer with hands-on exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI, along with the ability to guide a small team and own critical modules.

This role is ideal for someone who is transitioning into leadership while remaining hands-on in development and contributing to real-world AI-powered applications.

Job Description

- Design and develop scalable AI-enabled backend systems and applications
- Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.) into business use cases
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs for AI-driven features
- Contribute to development of AI-powered applications (chatbots, automation tools, etc.)
- Guide and support junior developers, ensuring code quality and best practices
- Work on improving performance, latency, and reliability of AI systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production systems
- Participate in sprint planning and ensure timely delivery of assigned modules
- Work with basic MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and versioning (valuable to have)

Qualifications





- B.E/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in software development, with strong focus on Python-based backend development
- Hands-on experience or exposure to AI/ML/NLP or Generative AI use cases
- Experience in building and deploying APIs, microservices, and scalable applications
- Familiarity with integrating LLM APIs or AI services into real-world applications
- Exposure to MLOps concepts, such as model deployment, monitoring, or lifecycle management (good to have)
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members/interns
- Experience working in Agile environments, contributing to sprint-based delivery
- Ability to take ownership of modules/features and deliver with minimal supervision
- Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and production support
