Retail Sales Executive

Job Role

The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales of books and digital retail products, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting store operations to create an engaging and rewarding retail experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

- Assist customers in selecting books, accessories, and related services.
- Maintain customer records and follow up on pre-orders, new arrivals, and special editions.
- Promote cross-selling and upselling to improve average billing value.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for books and value-added services.

Store Operations

- Ensure proper shelving, cataloguing, and visual merchandising of books and products.
- Support stock receiving, replenishment, and inventory control.
- Handle billing, returns, exchanges, and POS operations accurately.

Marketing & Engagement

- Support in-store promotions, book launches, author events, and reading campaigns.
- Actively promote offers, memberships, subscriptions, and digital platforms.
- Collect and share customer feedback and market trends with the Branch Manager.





Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline.
- English fluency is must
- 1–3 years of experience in book retail, digital retail, or customer-facing sales roles.
- Freshers with strong interest in books, reading, and digital products may be considered.

Skills & Competencies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales-driven mindset with customer-centric approach.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.
