Electrical/ Mechanical Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Windmill Electrical/ Mechanical Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems in wind turbines. The candidate should have basic knowledge of wind turbine components, safety procedures, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in wind energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine .
- Inspect electrical components such as generators, transformers, motors, cables, control panels, and switchgear.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults and ensure quick resolution of technical issues.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor turbine performance and identify electrical abnormalities.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
- Work at heights and in different weather conditions when required.
- Coordinate with engineers and maintenance teams for smooth operations.

Required Qualifications





- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, or related field.
- Experience in wind turbine maintenance or industrial electrical/ Mechanical work preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, control systems, and Hydraulic Systems.
- Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Salary

Salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and company standards.

Preferred Certifications

- Electrical License (if applicable)
- Working at Height Certification
- Safety Training / First Aid Certification
