Job Description: EXL is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BI Engineer to support data solutions for our Sports & Media clients. You will play a key role in building and maintaining dashboards and analytical pipelines, helping clients generate meaningful insights and strategies.

- Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges within the Sports & Media sectors.
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Tableau to communicate insights effectively.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate to refine data models and reporting structures.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable recommendations.
- Assist in improving data visualization and storytelling techniques to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the development of productive data pipelines and workflows.

Qualifications: Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in math, statistics,



economics, computer engineering, business administration, or related analytics fields.
- 3-4 years of experience in BI development, data analytics, or similar roles with min of 2 year of experience in BI tools.
- Proficiency in Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Strong expertise in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Basic experience with Python for data analysis (preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to leverage data analytics to solve business challenges.

Preferred

- Experience in Sports, Media & Entertainment industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with DBT Cloud, Snowflake, and Streamlit (preferred but not required)
- Basic exposure to ETL, Data Management, and Data Engineering concepts.
