The ideal candidate should be able to translate complex scientific and technological concepts into engaging, reader-friendly content while keeping pace with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cover the latest developments in science, technology and artificial intelligence.
- Write high-quality news stories, explainers, feature articles and analysis on emerging technologies, scientific discoveries and innovation.
- Monitor developments in AI, machine learning, robotics, semiconductors, space technology and consumer technology.
- Break down complex scientific and technical concepts into simple, engaging and accurate content for a diverse digital audience.
- Identify emerging trends and generate original story ideas with high reader relevance.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure timely, accurate and impactful coverage.




- Maintain the highest standards of editorial accuracy, research and fact-checking.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology or related fields) is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a digital news organisation or editorial role covering science, technology or AI.
- Strong understanding of scientific concepts and emerging technology trends.
- Demonstrated interest in the latest AI tools, models, products and industry developments.
- Excellent research, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to write engaging explainers and feature articles while meeting tight publishing deadlines.
