Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial gearboxes. You will be expected to work independently as well as part of a team to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, provide technical support to clients, and perform repairs and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial gearboxes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with gearboxes and other related equipment.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients on gearboxes and related equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance services on gearboxes and related equipment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development of training programs for clients and staff.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in gearbox technology and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial gearboxes.
- Strong technical knowledge of gearboxes and related equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with gearboxes and related equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Fluent in English and Hindi (additional languages a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
