We are Gera Developments Private Limited (GDPL), a brand known by our five-decade history as one of the pioneers in the Real Estate business in Pune. There are many ‘firsts’ that stand to our credit. Way back in 2004, we introduced India’s first 5-year Warranty on Real Estate, that RERA mandated only in 2017. We then introduced India’s first and only 7-year warranty in Real Estate. In 2014, we designed and launched the award-winning ChildCentric® Homes, which revolutionised the Real Estate sector for both, the developer, and the home buyer. IntelliplexesTM, SkyVillasTM, and The Imperium series are our other highly successful product lines. In our 50th Year, we launched yet another first-of-its-kind industry initiative—Gera’s Home Equity Power—a means to provide financial flexibility to customers to meet financial emergencies.

Specifics of the role

- Ensure that all the project sites are accident free with utmost adherence to safety processes and protocols along with 100% adherence to safety gears
- Provide crucial inputs to the HOD on required safety measures and investments in order to ensure safety requirements
- Ensure adherence of safety processes, safety equipment and mandatory requirements that must be followed at sites to ensure safe working
- Ensure effective execution of all the activities pertaining to improvement of the environmental,



health and safety goals for the entire organization and ensure that all statutory requirements on EHS are complied with
- Recommend and finalise the safety and EHS budget . Ensure proper expenditures and track the actual Vs budgeted expenses.
- Conduct regular inspections of all premises and sites to evaluate workplace environment, safety equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations. Ensure violators are debited for non adherence
- Conduct the activities related to the labour camps and organizing health camps, immunization, fumigation, etc to ensure disease free labour camps and create awareness amongst the labourers to maintain hygiene conditions.
- Investigate the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions that could affect employee health, comfort, or performance
- Document all encompassing causal factors and identifying preventive and corrective measures
- Collaborate with site PMs for safety adherence along with meeting project milestones.
- Responsible for regularly updating the HOD on the safety practices across all projects with timely report submissions. Timely escalations wherever required.
- Arrange training for the contractors workmen on safety practice adherence. Encourage a positive safety spirit in the staff through regular meetings, on-going training and audits on all the activities
