Job Summary

A Site Engineer (Mechanical) is responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities at the project site. The role ensures that all mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day mechanical installation and construction activities at the project site.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor installation of mechanical equipment, piping, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, or other mechanical components, as applicable.
- Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and completed work for contractor billing and project records.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials, equipment, manpower, and resources.
- Support testing, commissioning, performance verification, and system handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, inspection records, and quality reports.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
- Identify project risks, delays, and technical challenges, and recommend corrective actions.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction, installation, or industrial projects (experience requirements may vary by organization).
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, construction practices, engineering standards, and relevant codes.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of piping, rotating equipment, static equipment, HVAC, or utility systems (depending on project type).
- Familiarity with quality control and inspection procedures.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with project management software is an advantage.

Working Conditions

- Primarily based at construction or industrial project sites.
- May require working in outdoor environments, confined spaces, or elevated work areas, depending on project requirements.
- May require extended working hours to meet project schedules.
- Must comply with all site safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
