Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash handling duties by processing cash transactions accurately and balancing cash drawers at shift end




- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards are met for all menu items
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking seamlessly

Experience

- Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in beverage service, serving drinks efficiently and professionally
