We’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester with 1 to 2 years of experience in both manual and automated testing. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality of our applications by designing and executing effective test plans, scripts, and cases that enhance the overall functionality, performance, and security of our software.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after updates.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and testing tools, recommending improvements as needed.
Job Requirement
- 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing, with a solid background in both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
