Automation QA Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in functional and automation testing, API validation, defect management, and CI/CD testing practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional & Application Testing

- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Validate application workflows, UI functionality, and business logic.
- Design, prepare, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, track, and validate defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

API & Backend Testing

- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Validate request/response payloads and backend workflows.
- Test integrations between internal systems and third-party services.
- Verify database records and backend data consistency using SQL.

Automation Testing

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts.
- Contribute to automation frameworks and reusable testing components.
- Participate in CI/CD-integrated testing processes.




- Improve test coverage and execution efficiency through automation.

Quality Assurance

- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release discussions.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps teams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities.
