Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled MSSQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing SQL queries, troubleshooting database performance issues, collaborating with application developers, managing data migrations, and ensuring robust backup and recovery processes. This role requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Query Development & Optimization: Write complex queries and stored procedures to support business needs, ensuring fast and efficient query execution.
Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues and related problems.
Collaboration: Work closely with application developers to integrate databases with applications and ensure smooth data flow.
Data Migration: Migrate data from other platforms and assist in the transition to MSSQL-based systems.
Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions for critical database systems.
Documentation: Document database structures, queries, and procedures, and maintain accurate records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including strong knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for database management and query optimization.
In-depth knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for designing, deploying, and managing reports.




Solid familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for SQL queries, indexes, and overall database performance.
Expertise in writing and optimizing advanced SQL queries, including complex joins, subqueries, window functions, and aggregations.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
