1. Brief description of this position:

This position will be responsible of analyzing the AC network file received from customer, identifying the improvement for finetuning and derivation of AC equivalent network for our HVDC and FACTS projects.

2. Job contents:

The primary contents of the work will be:

· Analysis of AC network PSSE file received from customers

· Preparing report on PSSE input file received from customers

· Documentation of identified finetuning of PSSE file received from customers

· Finalizing the PSSE input file in discussion with customers

· Derivation of Steady state and energetic equivalent of AC network in PSSE





· Conversion of AC equivalent from PSSE to PSCAD

Apart from these primary functions, the incumbent shall also be expected to perform the following functions:

- Innovate and work out new techniques and solutions
- Active collaboration with colleagues in different hubs located globally
- Customer training

3. Skill set requirement:

Must have technical skills:

- PSSE
- PSCAD
- ETRAN
- Other desirable technical skills:
- MATLAB, Simulink
- Digsilent Powerfactory
- GIT

Having previous experience of working on HVDC projects would be an added advantage.

4. Other requirements:

- Excellent team player
- Ability to work with team members who may have diverse backgrounds, including different nationalities.
