We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in Vendor Development and Procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to new product development, costing, fabrication, subcontracting, and SAP-based procurement processes, along with the ability to manage intercompany coordination from quotation to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle intercompany business activities from quotation to dispatch.
- Support new product development (NPD) through vendor coordination.
- Prepare estimations and costing for procurement and development activities.
- Interpret and work with engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate effectively with intercompany teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage procurement activities aligned with INCOTERMS and import/export procedures.
- Conduct market research and analyze sales/material data to ensure product competitiveness.
- Handle subcontracted items and fabrication-related sourcing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards such as ASTM, AISI, ANSI, DIN, etc.
- Maintain documentation and reporting using SAP,
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications
Essential
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Hands-on experience in vendor development and procurement processes.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
Preferred
- Experience in project-based or machine manufacturing industries.
- Exposure to EOU (Export-Oriented Unit) environments.
