Job Description

Candidate should have team handling experience of Minimum 12 members ********( Mandatory )********

Years - Minimum 8 Years relevant experience with team handling is mandatory

1. General Ledger & Month-End Close

•Lead and manage end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records

• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses

• Drive continuous improvement in closing timelines and processes

2. Financial Reporting

•Oversee preparation and review of internal management reports and external financial statements

• Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS / client-specific accounting policies

• Support audits (internal & external) by providing required documentation and insights

• Coordinate with stakeholders for reporting requirements and ad-hoc analysis

3. Team Management

• Lead, mentor,



and develop a team of GL and reporting professionals

• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews

• Foster a cooperative and high-performance work environment

4. Controls & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance (if applicable), and audit standards

• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Maintain strong governance and documentation practices

5. Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, auditors, and senior leadership

• Collaborate cross-functionally (AP, AR, FP&A;, Tax, etc.) to ensure seamless operations

6. Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation

• Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives where applicable

• Support transition and transformation projects
