In addition, UGX.AI develops AI agents designed specifically for shop floor operations.Role Description The Accounting Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. This role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, bookkeeping, and helping prepare and review financial statements. The Accounting Assistant will work with accounting software to process invoices, receipts, and payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.



The role also includes coordinating with internal teams on finance-related queries, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and helping ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a rapid-paced manufacturing and technology environment.Qualifications- Candidates should possess strong skills in Accounting and Bookkeeping to manage daily financial records and transactions accurately.- Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Finance to support reporting, analysis, and compliance activities.- Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software to process entries, generate reports, and maintain digital financial data efficiently.- Relevant education such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work with spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools.- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Prior experience in a manufacturing or technology environment is an advantage.
