Job Title: Associate – Operations

Location: KIDS Hospital, Bhubaneswar

Job Summary

KIDS Hospital is looking for an experienced Associate – Operations to support the day-to-day operational management of the hospital. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments, monitor operational performance, ensure smooth patient flow, maintain NABH compliance, and assist the Operations Team in delivering high-quality patient care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor Hospital Operations: Coordinate daily operations of OPD, IPD, ICU, Emergency, OT, and support services to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
- Operational Performance & MIS: Prepare monthly MIS reports, monitor departmental KPIs, analyze operational data, and submit performance reports to management.
- Patient Flow Management: Coordinate admissions, discharges, patient transfers, bed allocation, and discharge processes while ensuring minimum turnaround time.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with Nursing, Front Office, Pharmacy, Billing, Housekeeping, Maintenance, MRD, Security, and other departments for seamless hospital operations.
- Quality & NABH Compliance: Monitor adherence to hospital SOPs, NABH standards, infection control practices, and conduct regular operational rounds to identify and resolve service gaps.
- Workforce & Shift Coordination: Assist the General Manager and HR in preparing and managing duty rosters, shift allocations, and manpower coordination for nurses and technicians.
- Hospital Information System (HIS): Support implementation, monitoring,



and effective utilization of the Hospital Information System while ensuring operational compliance by users.
- Patient Experience & Grievance Handling: Address patient and attendant concerns, collect feedback, monitor waiting times, and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- External & Clinical Coordination: Liaise with government authorities, service providers, laboratories, blood banks, and support doctors with operational data and patient-related information during rounds.
- Operational Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Maintain operational records, conduct audits, support hospital training programs, medical camps, and recommend process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Administrative Support: Assist the Operations Team in implementing hospital initiatives, monitoring departmental performance, and executing special projects assigned by the management.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other duties assigned by the Management to support hospital operations and organizational objectives.

Required Skills

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of hospital operations and NABH standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
