Role Description The Store Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Park Street, Kolkata. The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and ensuring that the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing. This role includes managing inventory levels, coordinating stock replenishment, and implementing retail loss prevention procedures. The Store Manager will handle direct sales, cold calling customers, attending customer inquiries and issues, maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction, and ensure that sales targets and performance metrics are met. The role also involves reporting on store performance, supporting training and development for team members,



and collaborating with management to execute store policies and promotional activities.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to resolve concerns effectively and maintain loyal customer relationships.
- Store Management experience, including overseeing daily operations, staff coordination, and adherence to company policies in a retail or textiles environment.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, train team members, and report to management.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage, protect inventory, and maintain store security.
- Relevant experience in retail, textiles, or apparel; prior supervisory or team lead experience is highly beneficial.
- Basic proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash, billing, and daily reconciliation.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Kolkata, including weekends or extended hours as required by store operations.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in business, retail management, or a related field is an advantage.
