Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Ranchi. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing educational and promotional video content for digital platforms, including trimming footage, arranging sequences, and refining audio and visual elements. The role involves collaborating with the content and marketing teams to understand project objectives, create storyboards or rough cuts, and ensure consistency with brand guidelines.



Day-to-day tasks include integrating motion graphics and visual assets, applying color grading, optimizing videos for various formats, and managing media files and project archives. The Video Editor will also contribute creative ideas to enhance engagement and clarity in student-facing content.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Video Editing and Video Production for creating high-quality educational and promotional content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visually consistent and appealing outputs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design engaging visual elements and overlays.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and motion/graphics tools (such as After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator) is beneficial.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience creating educational, informational, or student-focused video content is an advantage.
