As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and utilizing automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role includes overseeing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, aiming to improve control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing practices and to drive improvements in product quality and delivery efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices in test automation to enhance overall testing efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align testing strategies with project goals.
Qualified & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues within automated testing environments.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Experience in collaborating with development and quality assurance teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and software development lifecycle concepts to support automation efforts.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
