Responsible for sustaining existing products, addressing field issues, implementing engineering changes, cost reduction, quality improvements, reliability enhancement, and supporting manufacturing and service teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Root cause analysis of field failures
- Design modifications and engineering change management
- Cost reduction initiatives
- Product reliability improvements
- Manufacturing support
- Vendor development support
- Customer complaint resolution
- Technical documentation and design reviews
- Coordination with quality, production and sourcing teams
Experience :
- 8-10 years in mechanical/product design
- Experience in sustaining engineering
- Exposure to manufacturing workplace
- Experience in handling customer and field issues
Technical Skills :
Engineering drawings, GD&T;, CAD software -
DFMEA/PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis
Reliability Engineering, DFM/DFA
Engineering calculations, Material selection
Change management process
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
